Vale de Moses
Amieira, Oleiros
A retreat in the forested mountain valleys of central Portugal, with an address at Oleiros in the Castelo Branco district. Four schist stone houses have been restored there since 2008, and guests are accommodated in double bedrooms in the main farmhouse, in single beds in shared open-plan cottages, or in glamping bell tents. There are cascading river pools and river paths leading to old flour mills.

Verification
Details last confirmed against the property's own site on 1 August 2026.
What we could not confirm: No prices appear on the retreat pages we checked. The site gives no information on how the valley is reached, whether a car is needed, or which airport to use; its address is given as Oleiros and it does not mention Amieira. It does not say what the buildings were before they were restored.
