These commissions help fund the writing, the photography, and the research that goes into every dispatch. They are also the only commercial relationship we maintain with the booking platforms we link to. We are not paid to feature a hotel, a destination, or a tour operator, and we do not accept sponsored placements within editorial content.

Our recommendations are chosen on the same basis whether or not a partner program exists. If a hotel or operator is included in the Atlas, it is because we believe it is worth your time. If no good affiliate option exists, we still recommend the place.
