Begun in the 1950s as an essence distillation works, the estate moved from vines to a forty-hectare citrus orchard; the family opened it to guests in 2013 and now runs it in its third generation. It lies between the orange groves and the sea near Conceição and Cabanas de Tavira, with a saltwater pool set among the orchard and a roof terrace facing the sea and the hills. Guests stay in studios with kitchens and terraces over the grove, in first-floor rooms looking towards the garden and the sea, and in ground-floor rooms with private terraces.
