Pensão Agrícola
Conceição de Tavira
Built in 1920 as a wedding gift, the house worked as a farm until 1970 and then stood closed for forty years. Its conversion, by Atelier Rua, produced six suites: three in the original building, named Curral, Chaminé and Armazém, and three in separate modules outside, named Páteo, Açoteia and Muro. It stands in the Barrocal between Tavira and Cacela Velha, 1.5 kilometres from the Ria Formosa, among orange, fig, almond, strawberry and carob trees.
